This logo was thought about for an extremely long time. I
wanted to create something that people would recognize as being the insignia of Sunnybrae Equestrian Centre even if the words
were not there, just the picture.
The wonderful artist who translated my thoughts to "camera ready art" was Colin
Cook from Whitehill, N.S.. He helped me convey the message I was trying to send. That message is something along these
lines...
"The true horseman (horse woman) is born not created." I feel
there is an inner strength that horse people have, we can't explain it its just there. We are a strange breed of individuals
and we give up an awful lot to answer the call of the horse. So I guess this logo symbolizes the first time you've ever reached
out to touch that soft velvet muzzle and your inner light goes on and you realize ..."The Dream Starts Here...."
Sunnybrae Equestrian Centre is owned and
operated by Dawn MacKay-Kennedy and her husband Jerry Kennedy. Dawn is a C.E.F. Level 1 western coach and has
been actively teaching both English and Western disciplines for the past 15yrs.
The goal of the Centre is to offer a safe, affordable and quality
experience for the young and the young at heart. Our centre practices natural horsemanship and harmony with horses.
We teach our students how to read and understand why horses do what they do and how we can communicate with our horses on
their level to promote the best possible learning scenario for both equine and human.
This is my current(up to date) coaching certification. Taking lessons from a certified coach/instructor will ensure
you learn in a safe and knowledge based environment!!!

- DRIVE FOR ANOTHER 10MIN. AND YOU WILL SEE A HAND PAINTED SIGN "SUNNYBRAE"
- ON YOUR LEFT YOU WILL SEE A GREEN BUILDING "SUNNYBRAE TOOL HANDLE"
- TURN RIGHT OVER BRIDGE
- 500 FEET DOWN THE ROAD WE ARE LOCATED ON YOUR LEFT!
